Zambia Reports has once again done its job of defaming Dr. Rajan Mahtani on a monthly basis. This time around it has used Finance Bank as a medium and tried to cite that Dr. Mahtani and Finance Bank are still operating together. The issue was brought forward when BancABC, the owner of Finance bank since 2016, made a call for loan repayment to Lamasat.
From the events that has surrounded the article, it has become obvious that Zambia Reports is desperate to make an impact in Zambia. Hence, it is trying every trick in the book to draw the attention of the locals. Coming to the subject matter that ZR presented as an evidence to defame Dr. Mahtani, there is nothing much apart from conclusion drawn from imagination. The Finance Bank Zambia was already being managed by Dr. Mahtani in the past. Had the previous owner been interested in controlling the affairs of the bank, he would have not honoured the proposal of BancABC. The world itself had seen that a transfer of ownership took place at a valuation of USD $ 62 million. So, where does the question of managing business after sale comes from?
Zambia Reports has lost all its credibility. It has simply become a platform for the rich, who can pay well and have their thoughts ventilated in front of the Zambian crowd. Dr. Rajan Mahtani is one of the biggest enemy of this news channel and hence, defamatory articles continue to uncover every month. The bottom line is, it is not Dr. Rajan Mahtani who is pulling the strings of FBZ but it is the group of conspirators who are pulling the strings of Zambia Reports. With ‘good connections’ the conspirators are able to avoid legal consequences and so is ZR. Otherwise, things would have been different in Zambia.
