It appears that Zambia Reports has taken things for granted. The type of content which Zambia Reports has been publishing for the last few months clearly indicates that it has hatched a conspiracy with other conspirators and is trying to defame Dr. Rajan Mahtani. In a recent publication from ZR, it was mentioned that Loita Group’s CEO has made ‘disparaging remarks’ for the former Finance Bank Chairman, Dr. Mahtani. However, on verification it was discovered that the story was fabricated and was intentionally published by Zambia Reports to injure the reputation of Dr. Mahtani.

As a matter of fact, the actual relationship between Justin Chinyanta (CEO of Loita Group) and Dr. Rajan Mahtani is based on brotherhood. Both admire each-other’s work ethics and are on friendly terms. On one incident, Mr. Chinyanta commented:

With such mutual respect for each other, it is shocking to find how deliberately ZR has tried to create a rift between the two. This has been one of several attempts which has been made by the conspirators to defame Dr. Mahtani and highlight him as a corrupt person.

As the fight of Portland Cement Zambia continues, there have been numerous attacks on Dr. Mahtani as the conspirators are well aware of the difference which his presence in Finsbury Investments makes. Their immediate objective is to distance Dr. Mahtani from the fight for ZPC and try to steal the ownership of the cement plant. However, they have failed to realize that the former Finance Bank Chairman will never allow injustice to take place in his motherland. Irrespective of who comes to disrupt the harmony of Zambia, he will always find an honest Zambian blocking his path and saving the livelihood of thousands.

There are also confirmed reports that Clare Locke LLP (for Dr. Rajan Mahtani) has requested GoDaddy to discontinue its hosting services for Zambia Reports because of the laws which it has violated.

The news from the centre is that Dr. Rajan Mahtani has been granted the permission to travel abroad as the State permitted him to do so on medical grounds. The declining health condition of the former Finance Bank Chairman has been a serious concern for the past twelve months and with growing tension with regard to the Zambezi Portland Cement Factory his present condition has deteriorated further.

However, this news has once again been fabricated by Zambia Reports and now they are trying to convince people that Dr. Rajan Mahtani has obtained his passport by faking illness and will soon flee Zambia. The question which arises here is why will he do so? What is the need to flee Zambia?

Anybody who has the slightest knowledge of this case will understand that the accused owns a judicial review which was granted to him by the Lusaka High Court and reserved the right to question his infamous arrest in June. Nevertheless, these conspirators have attempted to launch another series of defamatory news whereby they will once again try to convince people that Dr. Rajan Mahtani is a culprit.

Truth, honesty and faith in justice, these three principles are enough to justify Dr. Mahtani. His role in the development of Zambia, Ndola and other parts of Africa is known to all. For years, he has respected the law and has made himself available on every occasion. Sadly, come writers and conspirators who wish to remain behind the curtains are trying to defame him and ensure that the people of Zambia begin to hate Dr. Rajan Mahtani. The first attempt of the conspirators had failed miserably, yet, they are back with another effort. However, this time around, their whole efforts will be cut short when the accused uses his judicial review.

It is a well-known fact that an honest person has no fears and a conspirator is already behind the curtains. The world has witnessed numerous articles from Zambia Reports that intent to defame Dr. Rajan Mahtani, but has anybody ever seen the author of those articles? Has anybody ever known about the background of the author who continues to claim that his ‘well-placed’ sources gives him a perfect base for writing imaginative stories? The truth is- nobody has ever heard about him. Why? Because his job is to stab people from behind, rather than coming out in the open and facing the truth.

Dr. Rajan Mahtani is a well-known businessman who has a career which extends to more than three decades. He has always made himself available in front of the law and has answered every single question which raised fingers on him. This contrasting nature of Zambia Reports and Dr. Mahtani says it all. On one hand, you have an entity whose thirst for money has reached a level where it can easily defame other eminent personality for the sake of thick bundle of notes and on the other hand, you have a person who has dedicated his life towards the development of Zambia and Africa.

The bottom line is, Dr. Mahtani doesn’t need to hide around for his actions, but the conspirators surely need a curtain to conceal themselves from being in the limelight. The ownership of Portland Cement Zambia is with Finsbury Investments as it legally owns a 58% stake of the cement factory. Creating stories with respect to share forgery and making rumours regarding bribery will not help the conspirators to get the possession of the factory. God is watching every single conspiracy which the Ventriglia family is contributing with the help of Zambia Reports, Sakwiba Sikota and Daily Nation. The redemption for the same is soon on the cards.

The Ventriglia family (Italian Mafias) wouldn’t have imagined that their plan to conquer the Zambezi Portland Cement Factory would go horribly wrong when they decided to play around the African Law. In their quest to remove Finsbury Investment from the management of the factory, they ignored the number of consequences which could arise from their actions.

The first violation took place on April 7 2015 when the bandit goons helped the Ventriglia family to take over the ZPC by force. During that time, an official had presented the injunction which was obtained from the Lusaka High Court. However, the same was torn into pieces and then dismissed without any consideration. The second violation took place on June 2 2015 when the Ventriglia family managed to pass an order from the DPP and got Dr. Rajan Mahtani arrested on ground of signature forgery. It was the same case which the Attorney-General had permanently closed in 2012.

The Ventriglia family did plan their public relations campaign well by hiring news portals and lawyers who would continue to defend their cause and eliminate their enemies. Zambia Reports along with lawyer Sakwiba Sikota have managed to play around with the truth and have fabricated the stories according to their requirement. Sadly, they failed to realize that truth and justice prevails over all.

The result of their actions is that their appeal has been rejected on grounds of being merit-less and Dr. Mahtani has a judicial review with him. Time and over again, it has been proved that the truth cannot be concealed forever. The Ventriglia did gain attention with the help of media for some time, but now they are facing a certain defeat in the days to come. It would be interesting to find what the outcome of judicial review is in the days to come.

With a lot being said about the ownership of the Zambezi Portland Cement factory, it is time to unfold some of the darkest secrets of this Ndola based organization. The Zambezi Portland Cement Factory became the second biggest cement manufacturing entity with the assistance of Dr. Rajan Mahtani, who agreed to invest in this factory through Finsbury Investments. A huge fortune was spent on its developments and it was agreed through a shareholding certificate dated February 26 2007 that Finsbury Investments would hold 58% shares of this factory and the Ventriglia family would hold the remaining 42%.

However, with greed for power, the Italian Mafias tried to overthrow the management of Finsbury Investments by making false claims with respect to the share transfer certificates. They hired a lawyer who would possibly perform any act to ensure that his clients are put to benefit and the name of the lawyer is Sakwiba Sikota. So, with a combination of dishonesty and malpractices, the Ventriglia family was able to overthrow Finsbury Investment’s management group after the death of Levy Mwanawasa in 2008.

During this time, a total of USD $40 million was looted from the factory through the aid of off-shore transfers, bribing senior government officials and hiring handwriting experts who would charge as much as USD $80, 000 for their service. Irrespective of their efforts, the cement factory was once again put in the hands of the legal owners in 2012.

Things got upset in 2015, again, as the Ventriglia family’s deportation orders were lifted and they made an infamous comeback and took over the Zambezi Portland Cement Factory by force. A question which continues to bother all is why the Ventriglia family is allowed to access a plant which has only been misused under their management? What have the Ventriglias done for the employees? How long will this carnage continue?

The Ventriglia family are making it difficult for the workers of the Zambezi Portland Cement Factory through their behavior and attitude towards their development.

The series of conspiracy against the ex-Chairman of Finance Bank, Dr. Rajan Mahtani has finally met its end as the Lusaka High Court has put a stay order to the account of criminal charges which were previously being dumped on the accused. On June 25 2015, High Court Judge Mwiinde Siavwapa passed a stay order whereby the orders of arrest from the DPP has been put on a stay and Dr. Mahtani is now eligible to apply for a judicial review.

The whole incident began on June 2 2015, when Dr. Rajan Mahtani was put behind the bars for reasons which were previously declared as ‘permanently closed’. It is evident from the actions that the arrest was made with a view to take Dr. Mahtani out of context for the Zambezi Portland Cement Factory. With the help of bribery, the Ventriglia family was able to ensure that Dr. Rajan Mahtani remained unavailable for his proposal to wind up the Zambezi Portland Cement Factory.

Zambia has been surrounded by conspiracy as the Italian Mafia are back with a vengeance. Three weeks ago, Dr. Rajan Mahtani was arrested by the police for some ‘unacceptable’ reasons. The reason which was presented by the officials is that Dr. Rajan Mahtani had used dishonest means (forgery of signature) to obtain the ownership of the Zambezi Portland Cement Factory in Ndola. The most interesting part of this claim is that a case which was previously declared as ‘permanently closed’ was now being reopened just for the sake of getting a vengeance.

The most depressing part of the whole event was that Dr. Rajan Mahtani had no support from any strong political figure because most of them were buried under the pile of money which the Ventriglia family had given them. In fact, the current President of Zambia, Edgar Lungu also failed to stand by his countrymen and wished to witness the harassment which Dr. Mahtani had gone through.

Nevertheless, with strong support from the countrymen and blessing of Christ, Dr. Rajan Mahtani got out of jail and is now questioning the legal system which has kept itself silent and open to change as long as there is good funding. Zambia had never seen a day as dark as this ever before. The question which remains to be answered is whether the Zambians stand up for a cause or will the power of money continue to dominate this pure land?

Dr. Rajan Mahtani, an integral part of Finsbury Investments was recently put behind the bars without any proper reason. Cases from 2012 have been reopened with a view to ensure that Dr. Mahtani remains aloof from taking legal actions against the ‘Italian Mafias’.

The director of ACOZA, Gavin Sinkala said that the current President of Zambia, Edgar Lungu has become a puppet in the hands of Rupiah Banda.  The Ventriglia family has used their money power to promote corruption and ensure that things remain in their favour.
