From the events that have unfolded in the past six months, it has become clear that Dr. Mahtani & Zambia have been fooled by the Italian Mafias. The Ventriglia family has stuck to their game plan as they continue to ignore the judicial system of Zambia. They have been claiming that the Portland Cement Zambia belongs to them in absolute ownership and it was Dr. Rajan Mahtani who had forged signature to steal the ownership.

The claim is not something new. It has been there for almost a decade now and with every passing day it is the cement factory who is ending up on the losing side. In the very first instance, the Ventriglia family wanted everyone to know that they were the true owner of the factory and had 100% stake. But when the High Court is giving them a chance to prove themselves, they are always seen avoiding the scene. In 2016 itself there were numerous instance where the Court had asked Antonio Ventriglia, owner of Ital Terrazzo Limited, to appear for hearing on a prefixed date. Sadly, on each of the occasion, he was found absent.

A human, by nature, will always try his level best to get back something which belonged to him earlier. However, in this case we see that the Ventriglias are not interested in taking the matter to the Court. Rather, they are happy to settle this case in typical mafia style – hire goons, threat employees and take the factory. In the past as well, the Ventriglias have broken law on several occasion, yet they escape the scene with the aid of their political friends and lawyers. Dr. Mahtani & Zambia have been patiently waiting for the law to do its job, but the Ventriglias are playing a cunning game by avoiding their presence.
